Kristan E. Lehtinen


Kristan Lehtinen is a Principal/Partner in the global business law firm of Lovaas & Lehtinen, P.C. Ms. Lehtinen was profiled in the 2009 and 2010 Rising Stars editions of Mountain States Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the mountain states’ top business litigators under 40. Ms. Lehtinen and the firm routinely represent a diverse international and regional client list in commercial litigation matters involving breach of contract disputes, commercial leases, and debt collection.  Further, Ms. Lehtinen assists overseas corporations in the set-up of new or affiliate offices in the United States and U.S. companies’ expansion into other world regions.

Ms. Lehtinen is a Member of both the International and Business Law Sections of the ABA including: Business and Corporate Litigation, Business Courts, Corporate Counseling and Litigation, International Litigation, and Partnerships and Alternative Business Entities; and also a Member of the Clark County Bar and Sin City Chamber of Commerce.

In April of 2009, Ms. Lehtinen was selected as the USA-Canada panelist for ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting in Vancouver, BC, Canada to present on the program The Nuts and Bolts of Cross Border Negotiations.  Ms. Lehtinen was joined by distinguished panelists from the United States, India, Latin America and Europe.

In October of 2009, Ms. Lehtinen was unanimously voted to serve on the University of Las Vegas Nevada Libraries Board of Advisors.

Ms. Lehtinen is an immigrant to the United States from Ontario, Canada, having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Honors with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1995.  Following receipt of her undergraduate degree, Ms. Lehtinen was employed in Seoul, South Korea and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia.  Ms. Lehtinen obtained her Juris Doctorate, from California Western School of Law in 2001.  Ms. Lehtinen was admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Nevada in 2002.
