Aaron D. Lovaas


Las Vegas native, Aaron D. Lovaas, is a Principal/Partner in the global business law firm of Lovaas & Lehtinen, P.C. Mr. Lovaas is a business law attorney and litigator with substantial experience representing local, national, and international clients, business owners and corporate executives across the business spectrum.  Mr. Lovaas’s MBA degree aids in providing premium advice and direction to business clients in non-litigation settings and transactional representation. Through a rigorous process of peer nomination and staff research and recommendation, Mr. Lovaas has been profiled in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 editions of Mountain States Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the mountain states’ top business litigators.

While Mr. Lovaas has focused his practice primarily in the area of business related litigation for the past fifteen (15) years, he also serves as a private mediator, assisting parties to burgeoning disputes reach sensible and creative solutions and offering these services on a local, national and international level. 

Mr. Lovaas holds leadership positions in the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, and is also a member of the Business and Corporate Litigation Committee and Section of Litigation. He is also an active member of Las Vegas’ Sin City Chamber of Commerce as well as a number of other professional organizations, frequently serving as a speaker and contributing articles for publication to those organizations’ members. Mr. Lovaas has also frequently served as a moderator of various panel discussions for the American Bar Association Business Law Section including discussions featuring prominent speakers on the topics of client development, communication strategies, client service, and client satisfaction.

Mr. Lovaas earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1992; his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law in 1995; and his Master’s in Business Administration from UNLV in 2002.  Mr. Lovaas received his Diploma in Trial Advocacy Skills from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in 2002 as well. Mr. Lovaas was admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Nevada in 1995 and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 2000.
